Details for the Underworld Awakening soundtrack emerge featuring remixes by Renholder

These days it feels like film soundtracks are making a bit of a come back, last few years I hardly remember even reading about many let alone even listening to them. Last year had some mighty fine ones, and the trend continues with films promoting their music (this year we’ve had strong soundtracks from DRIVE and THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO just to name a few).

Well UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING is set to have a rock and metal type soundtrack, with the track list having been released. The soundtrack will go on sale on January 17th ahead of the films release on January 20th. The soundtrack will feature some previous talent from the series including Lacuna Coil and Danny Lohner – Renholder is back as well with a bunch of remixes. The soundtrack looks rather solid, check out the track listing below.

As for the film itself, it stars Beckinsale (below), Stephen Rea, Charles Dance, Sandrine Holt, Kris Holden-Reid, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley, Jacob Blair and Richard Cetrone.

When human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, a war to eradicate both species commences. The vampire warrioress Selene leads the battle against humankind.
