You know, I'm not going to lie to you guys here today and say that "domestic" thrillers such as THE INTRUDER are my cup of tea. They're really not. But that said, doing a bit of snooping on this particular upcoming flick, I realized that we can go ahead and fanboy out about the fact that film is really a reuniting of DREAMSCAPE writer David Loughery and DREAMSCAPE star Dennis Quaid. Good enough for me!
This time Quaid and Loughery will not be chasing bad guys across the land of dreams, but creating some nightmares of their own right at home with director Deon Taylor's THE INTRUDER starring Michael Ealy and Meagan Good.
Ealy and Goode play
A young married couple who buys their dream house in the Napa Valley. They think they have found the perfect home to take their next steps as a family, but when the strangely attached seller (Dennis Quaid) continues to infiltrate their lives, they begin to suspect that he has hidden motivations beyond a quick sale.
Deon Taylor (MEET THE BLACKS) directs the thriller from a screenplay written by David Loughery (NURSE 3D). Taylor also produces the film along with Roxanne Avent, Mark Burg, Jonathan Schwartz, and Brad Kaplan. The film stars Michael Ealy (JACOB'S LADDER remake), Meagan Good (the upcoming MONSTER HUNTER), Joseph Sikora (TRUE DETECTIVE), and Dennis Quaid (DREAMSCAPE).
