Denise Richards and her husband, Aaron Phypers, were involved in a road rage incident while the two were headed to a movie studio. While a bullet was fired at their vehicle, neither Richards nor her husband were injured.
Although details are still emerging, the incident allegedly stemmed from Phypers inadvertently cutting off another driver. It’s believed the other driver was tailing Richards and Phypers, at one point shooting at the back of their truck, leaving a hole in it.
Still, Denise Richards showed up on set for work. According to a source, “She was very shaken up and terrified, but she was a trooper and she went and filmed the whole day…She didn’t want to not show up to work…The guy had taken off by then, but when they realized the car was shot, they were really freaked out, and the production secured the scene…Even though they were upset, [Richards] decided to stay and film. Her role was just a one-day deal.” So remember that next time you take off work because you have the sniffles.
Denise Richards had initially been quiet in the media, but broke it to take on a Twitter troll who apparently would rather see her harmed:
Although the name of the production Denise Richards was shooting a scene for has not been unveiled, the actress has been quite busy over the past few years. Per her IMDb page, Richards has appeared in numerous TV shows (including soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful) and movies, with even more in production. One is the horror movie Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace, playing “a tough weapons expert charged with arming…[a] motley crew of demon slayers, styled as the ‘Warriors of Peace’, to fight an apocalypse-bound army of the dead.”
Thankfully, Denise Richards and husband Aaron Phypers were unharmed in the incident. According to a recent study, road rage shootings hit a record high last year.
