After making Baby Oopsie, Baby Oopsie 2: Murder Dolls, and Baby Oopsie 3: Burn Baby Burn, which were spin-offs that focused on one character from Full Moon’s Demonic Toys franchise, writer/director William Butler moved on to a different Demonic Toys spin-off (or, as Full Moon refers to it, “sidebar sequel”): Demonic Toys: Jack Attack. The movie was released through the Full Moon Features streaming service at the start of September, and now Full Moon has announced that Blu-ray and DVD copies are available!

Jack Attack is a jack-in-the-box toy that has a scary clown face and nasty teeth, and is able to reach out of his box with his long, snake-like body. This evil character previously appeared in Demonic Toys, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys, Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys, and Demonic Toys 2: Personal Demons (which was also written and directed by Butler). Jack Attack also had a cameo in Evil Bong.
In Demonic Toys: Jack Attack, the malevolent jack-in-the-box is up to his usual evil tricks as he and his familiar enter the life of a young, mute orphan girl, with murder and mayhem erupting all around them. Can this putrid plaything and his killer clown proxy be stopped? Cinema Crazed says DEMONIC TOYS: JACK-ATACK is “CHILD’S PLAY 2 meets BASKET CASE” while JoBlo.com calls the film “Freaky” with “Nightmarish Visuals”. Demonic Toys isn’t the only Full Moon franchise that once focused on groups of killer toys, dolls, and / or puppets that is now continuing with solo spin-offs. They’re doing the same thing with the Puppet Master franchise, and the solo movies Blade: The Iron Cross and last year’s Puppet Master: Doktor Death are set to be followed by Puppet Master: Furnace Leech Woman.
