Deep Water may have so-so reviews from critics, but per a new ratings list, it looks like those looking for something new to watch over the weekend got really into the steamy erotic thriller from director Adrian Lyne and starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas.

Per Samba TV, Deep Water was watched by 826,000 U.S. households during its first weekend streaming on Hulu. Proving that Boston loves their hometown homeboy Ben Affleck, the film over-indexed in that area by 62 percent. You can check out Samba TV’s Twitter post below!

Despite a lot of people deciding to catch Deep Water, it looks like their response to the pairing of Affleck and de Armas has been pretty lukewarm. The film is 32% rotten on Rotten Tomatoes and the audience score is even lower at 22%. As of this writing, Deep Water also holds a lackluster 5.4/10 on IMDB.

Deep Water is based on the 1957 novel of the same name and it comes from director Adrian Lyne, who is known for his psychological erotic thrillers. This is his first film since Unfaithful in 2002 and it follows a husband who allows his wife to dabble in affairs to avoid divorce. When one of her lovers disappears, he becomes the prime suspect.
