Despite a lot of people deciding to catch Deep Water, it looks like their response to the pairing of Affleck and de Armas has been pretty lukewarm. The film is 32% rotten on Rotten Tomatoes and the audience score is even lower at 22%. As of this writing, Deep Water also holds a lackluster 5.4/10 on IMDB.

Deep Water is based on the 1957 novel of the same name and it comes from director Adrian Lyne, who is known for his psychological erotic thrillers.
