Deep Blue Sea is back on Netflix!

Nice! A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER and THE LONG KISS GOODNIGHT director Renny Harlan's DEEP BLUE SEA starring Saffron Burrows, Thomas Jane, LL Cool J, Michael Rapaport, Stellan Skarsgård, and Samuel L. Jackson is back on Netflix.

Now I don't know about you but I think this takes care of my plans for the rest of the evening. After all, what better way to kick back after a long day than by watching LL Cool J throw lighters at shar– *gets randomly eaten to absolute death completely out of nowhere by a smart shark*

For those of you out there that might not know, DEEP BLUE SEA takes place

on an island research facility where Dr. Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows) is harvesting the brain tissue of DNA-altered sharks as a possible cure for Alzheimer's disease. When the facility's backers send an executive (Samuel L. Jackson) to investigate the experiments, a routine procedure goes awry and a shark starts attacking the researchers. Now, with sharks outnumbering their human captors, McAlester and her team must figure out a way to stop them from escaping to the ocean and breeding.

DEEP BLUE SEA was directed by Renny Harlin (DIE HARD 2) from a screenplay written by Duncan Kennedy, Donna Powers, and Wayne Powers. Akiva Goldsman, Tony Ludwig, and Alan Riche produced. It stars Saffron Burrows, Thomas Jane, LL Cool J, Jacqueline McKenzie, Michael Rapaport, Stellan Skarsgård, and Samuel L. Jackson. Warner Bros. released it back on July 28, 1999. STREAM IT HERE.
