Deathgasm Part 2 coming soon!

The last word we heard on a sequel to Heavy Metal horror flick DEATHGASM was back in December 2015 when writer-director Jason Lei Howden took to his Instagram account to announce that he had completed writing the screenplay for what he called DEATHGASM PART 2: GOREMAGEDDON, teasing us with its potential awesomeness by posting an image of the script's title page accompanied by this caption: 

So I just finished this. There is literally more gore in the first 10 minutes than the entire first #deathgasm. If you kinda liked the first, this will make your head implode. If you thought the first Deathgasm was puerile, juvenile and dumb then Goremageddon will melt your face off and force you to barricade yourself inside, safe with some Terrance Malik and Coldplay.

And today we have word that DEATHGASM PART 2 is still in the works and coming our way soon. The update comes to us from an article letting us know that Simeon Halligan and Rachel Richardson-Jones, directors of Manchester-based UK genre film festival Grimmfest, are launching a production company called Grimmfest Films. And rounding our their production slate is none other than DEATHGASM TOO.

The first film centered on

Two teenage boys unwittingly summon an ancient evil entity known as The Blind One by delving into black magic while trying to escape their mundane lives.

DEAHTGASM was written and directed by Jason Lei Howden. Sarah Howden, Andrew Beattie, and Morgan Leigh Stewart produced. The flick starred Milo Cawthorne, James Blake, Kimberley Crossman, Sam Berkley, and Daniel Cresswell. Buy the original on Blu-ray HERE.
