Deadpool’s Brianna Hildebrand is a cunning kleptomaniac in Trinkets trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I'd say it's a fair assumption to think that everyone's tried stealing something at least once in their lives. For me, it was a pocketful of minerals and seashells from a souvenir shop located in Port Jefferson, New York. I must have been at least six years old, and thought it would be cool to own a small collection of shark teeth, miniature sand dollars, and tiny rocks that looked like magical gems. Oh, I totally got caught before we left the store, and let me tell you … my mom was pissed. I think a lot of her anger was born more of embarrassment than anything else, and for that I've always been sorry. Live and learn, I suppose.

Trinkets, Netflix, Brianna Hildebrand

Netlfix has unveiled a trailer for TRINKETS, an upcoming TV series starring DEADPOOL and DEADPOOL 2's Brianna Hildebrand that shows what happens when three teenage girls meet in Shoplifter's Anonymous and form an unlikely friendship. As their bond grows, so does their confidence in thinking that together they can execute a small-scale crime spree to prove who's the most thorough theif of them all.

Joining Hildebrand as Elodie for the 10-episode, half-hour series are Kiana Madeira as Moe, and Quintessa Swindell as Tabitha. The series is based on a young adult novel of the same name written by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith. If Smith's name sounds familiar that's because she's also written the screen adaptations of films like 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, LEGALLY BLONDE, ELLA ENCHANTED, THE HOUSE BUNNY and more! From what I've heard, the show will be packed with a series of emotional beats as well, while exploring the girls' different backgrounds and motivations for mischief. In other words, if you're in the market to have your heart stolen by the charming Hildebrand and company, you might want to let TRINKETS steal a bit of your time.

TRINKETS, as produced by AWESOMENESSTV, will make its Netflix debut on June 14th.
