DC Universe members will receive access to early screenings of Birds of Prey

It's a pretty awesome time to be a DC fan. CW shows like The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl are absolutely killing it. JOKER has been nominated for eleven Oscars and made over $1 billion. Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN, featuring a star studded lineup just began filming. Even Green Lantern is getting its own show courtesy of HBO Max. Yup, everything is coming up Milhouse if you're a DC fan. Now if we could just get the Snyder Cut…eh not going down that road. Moving on!

Another DC event that's just over the horizon is director Cathy Yan's BIRDS OF PREY. The film will follow the adventures of Harley Quinn, Huntress, Black Canary, Renee Montoya, and Cassandra Cain as they take on the notorious crime boss Roman Sionis, A.K.A. Black Mask. BIRDS OF PREY just had its world premiere a few days ago and the hype for this movie is larger than Lex Luthor's ego. The film releases worldwide in only a couple weeks but if you just can't wait to get a hit of that sweet sweet BIRDS OF PREY goodness I have some excellent news for you. That is of course if you're a  DC Universe subscriber and live in the USA.

In a move so magnanimous that even Bruce Wayne could appreciate it, DC Universe subscribers will have the chance to see BIRDS OF PREY early. Beginning this Friday, anyone who possesses a DC Universe subscription will be provided a link to RSVP to a number of early screenings across the United States. Said screenings will occur on February 4th and 5th in thirty cities throughout the nation. Man as much as I'd love to see BIRDS OF PREY early I'm totally out of luck when it comes to this situation. Not only do I not have a DC Universe subscription, the closest available city to me is New York, which I'm sorry to say is over 300 miles away. Ah sie la ve! Guess I'll have to wait until opening day.
