Following in the footsteps of Vin Diesel's THE PACIFIER and Dwayne Johnson's TOOTH FAIRY, it seems that Dave Bautista is ready for his own family-friendly comedy in MY SPY. The actor stars as a hardened CIA operative who finds himself at the mercy of a young girl (Chloe Coleman) who is bullied at school and manages to convince him to train her in the ways of a secret-agent. STX Entertainment revealed the first trailer for MY SPY yesterday at CinemaCon, and now us mere-mortals get to gaze upon the first poster for the upcoming film.
The trailer for MY SPY will be released tomorrow, so we'll all get to watch what our own Editor-in-Chief Paul Shirey referred to as "a young audience crowd pleaser with a high cringe level." Keep an eye out. MY SPY will hit theaters later this year, but we've still got plenty of Dave Bautista in our future as the actor will soon be reprising his role of Drax for AVENGERS: ENDGAME on April 26th, and he's also set to play Glossu Rabban, the brutish nephew of Baron Harkonnen, in Denis Villeneuve's upcoming adaptation of DUNE which will hit theaters on November 20, 2020.
