Darkness surrounds this trailer

The boys over at

Horrormovies.ca scored the trailer for the giallo flavored horror
flick DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA, and following in suit with the rest of
what we’ve seen from this film, it shows a lot of promise.

In case you haven’t been
following along with the news for DARKNESS, here’s the scoop on the
flick. It’s about
a beautiful but deeply troubled ex-painter whose new life of philandering and
thievery is capsized when a deranged art lover kidnaps her and makes a
horrifying proposition. Needless to say, the bloody corpses of beautiful Italian
ladies pile up, and the police must get the bottom of it all.

I love me some Italian horror, and
I’m looking forward to this one. Truthfully between this and MOTHER OF TEARS,
I’m hoping that a trend may start in the vein of psychological giallo horror.
