Darkness rises in latest TV spot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The long road towards a brand-new STAR WARS movie is almost a little like Christmas, with months and months of anticipation before, suddenly, the big day has come and gone in the blink of an eye. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is now a mere month away from release, and we'll likely be seeing much more of the film as the marketing campaign picks up even more steam, which is sure to be hell for those of you looking to avoid discovering too much about Rian Johnson's STAR WARS sequel. However, if you're looking to absorb every little bit before the movie hits theaters, the latest TV spot for STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI has arrived to scratch that particular itch, with a few snippets of new footage including Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) asking permission from General Leia (Carrie Fisher) to hop in an X-Wing and blow something up, which he promptly does.

As for myself, I feel as though I fall somewhere between the two camps. I really don't want to watch all these trailers and TV spots, but I just can't help myself. It's a serious problem. Lucasfilm seems to be quite enthused with what Rian Johnson has delivered, as they recently announced that Johnson will be creating a brand-new STAR WARS trilogy which is set to "introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored."

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI will hit theaters on December 15, 2017, and check out the new IMAX poster below!
