We've seen a few different trailers for director Gore Verbinski's upcoming psychological horror film A CURE FOR WELLNESS and we've seen various viral marketing promos, but today we have another sort of marketing to take a look at: a minute long clip from the film.
A CURE FOR WELLNESS stars Dane DeHaan as a man who
is sent to rescue his boss from a European “wellness spa.” He soon realizes he's trapped, and discovers that the facility has a more sinister purpose than just serving the health needs of its patients.
DeHaan is joined in the cast by Mia Goth as a patient at the facility and Jason Isaacs as the facility's director.
This first clip features both DeHaan and Isaacs, and begins with DeHaan, from the looks of it, trying to find a way out of the facility. Instead, he finds himself stuck in a hallway with the director and some orderlies. It's a simple scene of hopes being dashed, but it still sports the impressive visual style that everything else we've seen from A CURE FOR WELLNESS has had.
A CURE FOR WELLNESS will be reaching theatres on February 17, 2017. Fun fact: It is 146 minutes long!!!
