So this is surprising (and possibly unprecedented!) Recently, CD Projekt Red – the developers of the highly-anticipated epic sci-fi open world game, Cyberpunk 2077 – had sent out a statement, essentially saying that they'd honor refunds to players who were dissatisfied after all the numerous (and often game-breaking) bugs, especially on the last-gen console versions.
Except…CD Projekt Red seemed to have not communicated that to either Sony or Microsoft, causing a lot of frustration to both companies – as well as retailers – whose policies don't honor refunds for games already opened and played.
However, Sony has finally decided to honor the refund…but with the caveat that they will also take the game off their official PS Store. Here's what the company had to say on their @AskPlaystion Twitter account:
SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund. Please visit the following link to initiate the refund: https://t.co/DEZlC0LmUG.

Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 is available now, if you are still so inclined (BUY IT HERE), or you can submit for your refund HERE.
