After dominating television for well over a decade, CSI is back. The revival of the crime drama will catch up with a few members of the original team as well as introduce the next generation of forensic investigators. CSI: Vegas will see William Petersen and Jorja Fox returning as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle, respectively, as well as Paul Guilfoyle as Jim Brass and Wallace Langham as David Hodges, and CBS have released a new featurette which showcases a few of the new and returning characters and also teases the threat they'll be facing.
"I am excited to get back to Grissom again," say William Petersen in the video. "The way we solved crimes 20 years ago is a lot different than the way they solve crimes now. It’s a different world." The revival will open a "brand new chapter in Las Vegas, the city where it all began" as the city faces an "existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab, a brilliant team of forensic investigators must welcome back old friends and deploy new techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City." In addition to our returning crime scene investigators, CSI: Vegas also stars Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mel Rodriguez, Mandeep Dhillon, and Jamie McShane. The revival doesn't have an official release date yet, but it is on CBS' fall line-up, set to air on Wednesdays at 10:00 P.M. ET/ 9:00 P.M. CT.
