Crepitus, starring Bill Moseley as a cannibal clown, is coming to theatres

It's been a couple years since we last heard an update on director Haynze Whitmore's CREPITUS, which stars genre icon Bill Moseley as a clown that likes to eat children. We've been waiting for this one for a while, but now the wait is almost over. It has been announced that Indican Pictures will be giving CREPITUS a limited theatrical release on November 1st, followed by an iTunes release on November 12th. The film will be reaching DVD on December 13th.

The theatrical release will take place in ten markets across the United States. Horror fans will be able to see CREPITUS on the big screen in Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Denver, among other cities that haven't been confirmed yet.

Written by Whitmore, Eddie Renner, and Sarah Renner, CREPITUS tells the following story:

Seventeen year old Elizabeth and her younger sister, Sam, are thrust into circumstances more terrifying than living with their abusive, alcoholic mother when they are forced to move into their deceased Grandfather's house. Frightened beyond belief, they begin to learn horrible things about their family history. Never mind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in the girls… a cannibalistic clown named Crepitus.

Moseley's co-stars include Eve Mauro, Chalet Lizette Brannan, Caitlin Williams, Lance Paul, and Frederick George Stuhrberg.

Along with the release announcement comes a trailer, so give that a viewing below and see if this creepy clown movie looks like something you'd enjoy.
