On tap for ya this morning we have the creepy international trailer for David Robert Mitchell's festival hit IT FOLLOWS, a film our very own Chris Bumbray described as "a tremendous horror flick and the scariest film I've seen in years" in his review HERE. This one has been blowing away audiences at film fests around the world and was picked up for distribution by Radius-TWC earlier this year. Here's hoping we'll get word on a release date soon as I'm dying to peep this one.
The French trailer below is thankfully enough in English (my French is terrible!) and does a great job of teasing us on the horrors we can expect from IT FOLLOWS.
For 19-year-old Jay (Maika Monroe, AT ANY PRICE), the fall should be about school, boys, and weekends at the lake. Yet, after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter, she suddenly finds herself plagued by nightmarish visions; she can't shake the sensation that someone, or something, is following her. As the threat closes in, Jay and her friends must somehow escape the horrors that are only a few steps behind.
The film also stars Keir Gilchrist ("The United States of Tara"), Daniel Zovatto (Laggies), Jake Weary ("Chicago Fire"), Olivia Luccardi ("Orange Is the New Black"), and Lili Sepe (Spork).
