Shudder's upcoming anthology series based on George A. Romero and Stephen King's CREEPSHOW is coming our way later this month. And today we have an all-new trailer to share with you guys. Each episode of Creepshow will contain two different stories. The debut episode will feature Greg Nicotero's adaptation of Stephen King's short story GRAY MATTER. Adapted by Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi and starring Giancarlo Esposito, Tobin Bell, and Adrienne Barbeau it centers on:
Doc and Chief, two old-timers in a small, dying town, brave a storm to check on Richie, an alcoholic single father, after encountering his terrified son at the local convenience store. The story, first published in 1973, is part of King’s best-selling 1978 collection, Night Shift.
The premiere's second story is director John Harrison's take on BIRD BOX author Josh Malerman's THE HOUSE OF THE HEAD, which centers on:
a little girl who discovers her new dollhouse might be haunted.
The six-episode first season is all set to star Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer, Dana Gould, David Arquette, Jeffrey Combs, Kid Cudi, Big Boi, Bruce Davison, and DJ Qualls. You can check out the full list of stories set to be told in the first season right over HERE.
Shudder's Creepshow is produced by the Cartel with Monster Agency Productions, Taurus Entertainment, and Striker Entertainment.
