The second season of Shudder's anthology series Creepshow will have its premiere on the streaming service on April 1st, and a trailer has arrived online to give us a preview of the insane horror stories this new batch of episodes has in store for us.
The cast that has been announced for Creepshow season 2 includes Keith David, Ashley Laurence, Josh McDermitt, Ali Larter, Iman Benso, Ryan Kwanten, Barbara Crampton, C. Thomas Howell, Denise Crosby, Breckin Meyer, Ted Raimi, Kevin Dillon, and Eric Edelstein. They may not all make it to the screen, though. One of the segments shot for the season featured Marilyn Manson, who has now been accused of abusing multiple women. Manson's segment has been dropped from the show, and it's not clear which other actors might be in there with him.
Greg Nicotero, Creepshow's creative supervisor, said
I don't think there was a moment where we didn't want to do the right thing and pull the episode. I don't think we thought of that more than four seconds. There were some great actors in that episode as well. We stand by the decision, we stand by the support that shows."
A story called Sibling Rivalry and starring Molly Ringwald, who is seen in the trailer, was put in the place of the Manson story.
The trailer also reveals that Justin Long is in the season's cast. Season 2's directors include Nicotero and Joe Lynch.
