Earlier this week, CREEP star Mark Duplass tweeted about trying on his costume for the sequel. He seemed pretty confident that the movie was moving forward despite no official announcement, and he had good reason to be. CREEP 2 has now been officially confirmed by director Patrick Brice via the New Flesh Podcast.
Says Brice:
There’s been no official announcement…I know we’ve been kind of hemming and hawwing about whether or not there was going to be a sequel to CREEP, and it’s funny because Mark has alluded to it a couple times,” he tells the podcast, “but for some reason this tweet of him trying costumes on got picked up by Bloody Disgusting and then everyone started to report on it…
It’s out there now, and we better make a good movie.
Well, whoops. I guess the cat's out of the bag now. Don't trust your Twitter followers, Mark!
Here's the plot of CREEP:
When a videographer answers a Craigslist ad for a one-day job in a remote mountain town, he finds his client is not at all what he initially seems.
CREEP starred Duplass and Brice, who both co-wrote the film.
