Cowboy Bebop opening credits revealed by Netflix

Netflix has unveiled the stylish opening credits for its live-action adaptation of the Cowboy Bebop anime series and they show that the John Cho-led series is ready for action.

Cowboy Bebop is based on the popular 1998 Japanese anime TV series from writer Cain Kuga. The show was first ordered by Netflix straight-to-series for 10 episodes back in 2018 but filming hit a snag when John Cho, who plays Spike Spiegel, seriously injured his knee during a “freak accident” on set. The injury postponed production for 7-9 months.

Also starring Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda, the series follows three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys”, that are all trying to outrun the past. Per the official synopsis, “They form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.”
