Okay, so I did say that I was going to lay off the quality of movie posters. Did I give up hope that one day they would be great pieces of movie art? No. I would never do such a horrendous thing. I will continue to support great prints until studios decide to bring them back.
Cecil Trachenburg, mastermind behind the site Goodbadflicks.com decided to rant about some of the very same issues we’ve all brought up with modern movie posters. This guy is preaching to the choir but I am in lurve with him for doing so. Quit with the blue/orange, floating heads, Eddie Murphy eyebrow, goldenrod indies, and basically everything else that makes a movie look like the most boring, unoriginal crap of all time.
