The new trailer for Bioshock Infinite, the next entry in the award-winning Bioshock franchise has arrived. Filled with all the real-world/fantasy hybrid nightmare visuals that are consistent with the game, the trailer gives a pretty good peek into what to expect from the first person shooter. I played a bit of the first Bioshock and had a good time, but never finished it. In the end, there are just too many games for me to keep up with these days. I’m still in the midst of Oblivion (and likely will be for a long time at my pace). Regardless, this looks like a good time and I’m sure there are many of you that are stoked to pop this sucker in the player and get down to business.

Here’s the game synopsis:
Set in 1912, players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia on a rescue mission. His target? Elizabeth, imprisoned since childhood. During their daring escape, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond — one that lets Booker augment his own abilities with her world-altering control over the environment. Together, they fight from high-speed Sky-Lines, in the streets and houses of Columbia, on giant zeppelins, and in the clouds, all while learning to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, and immersing players in a story that is not only steeped in profound thrills and surprises, but also invests its characters with what IGN called “Emotional ties (that) will continue to set the bar in gaming.”
Bioshock Infinite hits store shelves on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 26, 2013.
