Cool Videos: This blooper reel from The Silence of the Lambs is hilariously weird

Some movies are just not funny at all. THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS is one of those movies. When you watch the dead serious performances from Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster, you never chuckle once. Sure, maybe some of the dated technology makes the movie a little humorous, but the subject matter of the film never elicits any comedic moments. That is until you see the blooper reel.

A Spanish subtitled reel of moments from Jonathan Demme‘s Best Picture winner made their way online and feature a light-hearted look behind the scenes of the classic movie. Seeing Sir Anthony Hopkins do an impression of Sylvester Stallone while brandishing a blade and covered in blood is something I never thought I would see. But, like most movie treats like this, it makes me love everyone involved even more.

Like the STAR WARS footage that has been making the rounds, it is nice to see these professional and highly esteemed actors being able to cut loose and act silly even on a film as dark and brooding as THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.
