Cool Videos: The Tarantino/Billy Joel mashup “Kill Billy”

I routinely get frustrated when I search for a video or trailer on YouTube only to find out the uploader has taken a scene and dubbed in their own corny music. I mostly get mad because it NEVER WORKS. Until now.

Jeff Yorkes created this near-brilliant mashup of KILL BILL and Billy Joel’s “She’s Always a Woman” that could, and should, be used to promote the first US screening of KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR in Los Angeles later this month. I never really paid a whole lot of attention to the lyrics of that song but when you see it with the appropriate footage from KILL BILL, it fits the film to a tee (sample lyric: “She’ll carelessly cut you and laugh while you’re bleeding.”). Take note internet mashup-ers – this is how it’s done.
