There is something to be said for the nostalgia of old school video games. Before graphics got so same amazing, video games had to entice you with gameplay and connections to the movies they were based on. Still, we never saw games based on dramatic films because there wasn’t anything very “video-gamey” about them. But, this recreation of THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS as an 8-bit game proves that even thrillers can make cool games.
Condensing the entire plot into an NES-caliber game, this take on THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS hits all of the major moments from Jonathan Demme‘s classic, even if the characters don’t look much like Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins, or Scott Glenn. Still, I would have played the hell out of this game if it were real.
