Most of us can relate to re-enacting scenes from our favourite films in some form or another, be it with toys and models or by going the extra mile and filming a complete re-enactment. That was the case of three 11-year old boys from Mississippi who set out to produce a shot-for-shot adaption of Steven Spielberg's classic RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Over the course of seven years, the trio managed to complete every scene but one. Decades later, after attracting the attention of Spielberg himself, they reunited to finally complete the film. RAIDERS!: THE STORY OF THE GREATEST FAN FILM EVER MADE, a documentary chronicling just how these friends pulled it all off is due to kick off a nationwide tour, and to help promote the film, the Alamo Drafthouse have put together a shot-for-shot remake of the RAIDERS trailer using footage from both the original and the adaptation.
