There are many hilarious moments in Martin Scorsese's THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, but the funniest scenes might be when Leonardo DiCaprio's Jordan Belfort attempts to make it to his car outside of a country club while on way too many Quaaludes, and the following scene back at Belfort's home with Jonah Hill's Donnie Azoff.
It's been rumored a Quaaludes expert was hired for THE WOLF OF WALL STREET to teach the actors how to act while under the influence of the powerful drug. In an interview with Conan last night, Martin Scorsese revealed an expert was hired, however he also knows a thing or two about the drug. The director says 35 years ago he was prescribed a Quaalude because of his fear of flying, and once he took the pill, had absolutely no problems flying. Scorsese doesn't go into too many details about his Quaalude adventure, but it is kind of funny hearing him talk about being on the drug. But remember kids, drugs are bad, mkay?
