Mark Hamill is a childhood hero of basically everyone on the planet. Luke Skywalker was just a star-gazing young man living a humble life until he became the hero we all wish we could be, flying spaceships and hanging out with space bears. Actor Adam Scott is one of the many millions who looked up to Hamill/Skywalker when he was a kid, and even wrote him a letter inviting him to his second birthday party. The actor of course didn’t come, but he made up for it last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live with guest host Kristen Bell. Scott and Bell are having a casual chat when all of a sudden the iconic John Williams score booms across the set, and Hamill himself makes a grand entrance. The look on Scott’s face is pure childhood whimsy, and he holds back the tears we would all probably be covered with.
