No one can argue that JURASSIC PARK isn't one of the most influential movies of all time; it's a near perfect movie that in my opinion stands beside A New Hope and Raiders in terms of importance and execution. The movie helped begin a CG movement among filmmakers and is responsible (for better or worse) for the digital world we see on screen today.
Here is a cool look back at JURASSIC PARK’s groundbreaking work and the how the decision to create digital dinosaurs impacted filmmaking history. It's part of a new digital series from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. "Moments That Changed The Movies: Jurassic Park" has some great retrospective interviews with those who worked on the film.
Will they capture the magic in JURASSIC WOLRD?
