THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG may have been better than the first film in Peter Jackson‘s prequel trilogy to THE LORD OF THE RINGS but it still felt like a piece of a single film rather than a movie capable of standing by itself. While you can still enjoy it, something just doesn’t quite feel right and yet I couldn’t put my finger on it. So, maybe the Cinema Sins crew can.
Usually, the Cinema Sins team compiles a list of issues with a movie that ranges from nitpicks to continuity errors and some just plain bad decisions from the creative team. But, when you are dealing with Peter Jackson and Middle Earth, you need an epic sized list of mistakes to equal the epic running time of the movie. So, presented in just about twelve minutes, here is everything wrong with THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG. One wonders how long the clip will be for the third and final movie.
