And here we are with another edition of CinemaSins. Seeing as every previous video has really riled you guys up, we will continue sharing them with you. The next victim is: THE HUNGER GAMES.
Now, I went into THE HUNGER GAMES with low expectations and ended up enjoying it a lot more than I expected to. I still think it is an overrated copy of BATTLE ROYALE, but it is a hell of a lot better than a lot of the crap aimed at teens these days (ahem, TWILIGHT). But, like any movie, there are things to nitpick.
With THE HUNGER GAMES sequel CATCHING FIRE coming soon, I would expect a lot more nitpicks. Sequels invariably up the budget and dumb down the content, but here’s hoping that doesn’t happen with this franchise.
