Cool Videos: Everything wrong with The Goonies may be blasphemous

If you were a child of the 1980s or later, THE GOONIES is probably a part of your memories. Basically a kid version of INDIANA JONES, THE GOONIES was the perfect mix of Steven Spielberg, director Richard Donner, and Corey Feldman. Who doesn’t quote the movie multiple times a day? I know I do. And, despite any faults it may have in the three decades since it was in theaters, THE GOONIES is still a fun movie to watch.

So, it somewhat pains me to share this video from the folks at Cinema Sins who have compiled a list of everything wrong with THE GOONIES. While my immediate reaction was to shout “bullshit!”, I can see where some of their points are valid. I may not agree with them, but they are certainly worthy of discussion amongst the civilized cineastes amongst you. Now, rip those bastards a new asshole for shitting on THE GOONIES!
