I haven’t seen Key and Peele’s show on Comedy Central yet, but after this video I think it may be time to give it a proper look. In this skit, the two comedians play a pair of valet’s who pass the time by talking about none other than the DIE HARD franchise, recounting all their favorite moments from the “Bruce Willie” series from the first film to the most recent, A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD.
The real hilarity of the skit is their reference to the various actors throughout the series as people from other roles, such as Urkel’s Dad, Timothy Olyphant from Justified, Voldemort (referencing Alan Rickman from the first film, although he played Severus Snape in their Harry Potter reference), etc. The energy and excitement is reminiscent of many conversations many of us have had about our favorite films, but probably with a lot more physical movement.
Great stuff:
Key and Peele can be seen in their show on Comedy Central and you can catch Bruce “Willie” in A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD in theaters tomorrow, February 14, 2013.
