Last weekend at the The Old Murder House Theater in Austin Texas, something strange took place. A bunch of people, many of who seemed to have no skating experience of any kind, strapped on skates and got together to adapt James Cameron’s ALIENS in its purest form… ON ICE.
Yes, it’s just as silly as you’d expect.
These guys are no stranger to ridiculous film adaptations as they’ve done other hilariously low budget adaptations of films like Robocop, Back to the Future and Home Alone (watch every single one of those RIGHT NOW), but this might be their most ambitious one yet.
ALIENS ON ICE! looks like it was an absolute blast. Check out a whole bunch of footage below and hope that they one day realize their dreams of taking it on tour.
