Cool Pics From Around the Web: RIP Adam West, Thor: Ragnarok, Josh Brolin

The world now seems so much smaller than it is, and one revolution to come out of the social media age is that we can connect with some of our icons and heroes with the click of a button, getting a glimpse into the elusive world of the show business. Here with the feature Cool Pics From Around the Web we will assemble some of the coolest, funniest, and possibly revealing photographs of the week from some of the world’s biggest stars. This week's recap of cool pics features several from celebrities paying their respects to the late, great Adam West, as well as pics (and a small video! Gasp!) from the bat-signal event last night in L.A. As well, we got a pic of Woody Harrelson out for a nice dinner with Donald Glover (sporting a Lando 'stache), Josh Brolin re-donning his GOONIES character, and Shane Black celebrating the 30th anniversary of PREDATOR!

Evening Gothamites and greetings from Los Angeles City Hall! I just came from the Adam West tribute ceremony where Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Police Department Chief Charlie Beck celebrate the life of Adam West who passed away June 9th (bottom right art by @NoRoomInTheFridge). Before lighting the Bat-signal in honor of our celebrated crime fighter, speeches were given by Burt Ward, Robin to Adam West's Batman in the '60s tv series, Ralph Garman and joined on the steps of the hall were Adam West's family, Co-publisher of DC Comics Jim Lee and "Batman" movie's Catwoman herself Lee Meriwether! West's classic Batmobile made an appearance at the foot of City Hall along with what felt like thousands of Batman fans remembering the amazing Adam West. It was definitely a wonderful tribute to a Batman we will all miss. Thanks for following and we'll have more History of the Batman soon! #RIPBatman ✌🏼💙🦇🙏🏼
