Now this is awesome. I’m no gamer, but who the hell wouldn’t want to be Mad Max, if only via a console?

Here’s the trailer for MAD MAX, a new game coming WB Games and Avalanche Studios. We’ll have to wait until 2014, unfortunately, for it to come out; this should serve as a morsel to chew on until that time.

Play as Mad Max, a lone warrior who must embark on a perilous journey after his Interceptor is stolen by a deadly gang of marauders. A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied “Plains of Silence”.
