It's easy to make fun of the twee, prim directorial of Wes Anderson, but it hasn't stopped being funny yet. In this new video from YouTube channel CineFix, they have reimagined the trailer for THE WITCH as a Wes Anderson film, and it's hilarious.
It's a real testament to the fact that the music and color palette really define the genre, because some of the film's scariest moments are converted into comical gags with the simple addition of cheerful music and a yellowed up color scheme that erases the oppressive greyness Robert Eggers imbued into THE WITCH.
