Cool Horror Videos: Peter Weller suiting up for the original Robocop

We're just a couple of days away from seeing a reimagined ROBOCOP hit theaters but for many of you there is only one ROBOCOP, and that is Peter Weller. Today we have a cool look back at Weller talking the original ROBOCOP, getting suited up for the part, and giving us his insight on the character of Alex Murphy.

While The Arrow dug the upcoming remake of ROBOCOP (peep his review HERE), like many of you I felt Robo's new design left a lot to be desired. Maybe it is just nostaligia, but dammit, I absolutely LOVE the Robocop design from Paul Verhoeven's 1987 classic and feel that no matter how hard they may try, they'll never be able to top that badass build. That bulky but badass design doesn't look very comfortable and, as you'll see, required a lot of extra hands to get it on the actor, but in the end it was all worth it as it remains one of the most iconic character designs in cinematic history.
