R. Michael McWhorter, who wrote and directed this short film, explores the idea of those things that go bump in the night, but with a small twist. Kate McBryde stars in THINGS THAT GO BUMP, a short film about, Megan, who is preparing for her first nights sleep in her new apartment; unaware that it houses a dark secret. Now all that stands between her and a living nightmare is a solitary beam of light.
I love that it plays on the old horror cliche of flashlights always shitting the bed when you need them the most. Also, the nods to George A. Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD was a fantastic touch—I'd love to go on but I think you guys just need to stop reading this and just watch the damn thing already! Check it out below!
