Cool Horror Videos: AITH’s Killer Guide to Horror: The Invisible Man

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

It’s time yet again for a new installment of AITH’s KILLER GUIDE TO HORROR! Today we put the Invisible Man under the microscope, although that’s problematic for obvious reasons…

The 1933 THE INVISIBLE MAN, directed by James Whale and starring Claude Rains as the mad-as-a-hatter Dr. Jack Griffin, is one of the greatest B&W horror movies ever. It’s funny, it’s perverse, it’s deranged, it’s creepy – it’s entertaining as hell. Seriously, if you haven’t seen it yet, I regret to inform you you’ve been missing out your entire life. But it’s not too late to give it a look! /p>

There were a few OK follow-ups to THE INVISIBLE MAN years after it came out (including THE INVISIBLE MAN RETURNS and INVISIBLE WOMAN) but none could quite match the wild tone of the original. Still, the character is worth taking a closer look at, so enjoy Nick’s video below!
