2016 has been a rough one. A rash of celebrity deaths and worrisome news stories has caused a lot of people to take to Twitter and personify the year as an actual force of evil. But that joke has been taken to its pinnacle with this new video from Friend Dog Studios, which reimagines the whole year as its own horror film.

It's pretty well done, combining satire of current events with some excellent skewering of genre tropes. Plus, it comes complete with its own haunting cover of "Auld Lange Syne!" It's the perfect endcap to a nightmare of a year. Check it out below!
