As you might imagine, it isn't often here at AITH that we get the chance to bring up GREMLINS and GOONIES creator Chris Columbus' Christmas classic HOME ALONE. And that's too bad. But thankfully we have a killer excuse today as Fright-Rags has unveiled a killer new collection based on the John Hughes flick – centering on none other than THE SOUTHBEND SHOVEL SLAYER!
For those that might not know, back in 1958, THE SOUTHBEND SHOVEL SLAYER murdered his whole family and half the people on his block – with a snow shovel. But there wasn't enough evidence to convict. They never found the bodies. He's been in hiding out in a quiet, ridiculously expensive-looking neighborhood ever since. And it's just a matter of time… before he does it again! Every night, he walks up and down the streets, salting the sidewalks. He keeps his victims in his garbage can full of salt. The salt turns to bodies. Into mummies. More information can be found HERE.

when bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O'Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence and that he alone must protect the family home.
HOME ALONE was directed by Chris Columbus from a screenplay written by John Hughes who also produced. It starred Macaulay Culkin, Catherine O'Hara, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, and John Candy. John Williams scored the flick and 20th Century Fox released it back on November 16, 1990.
