San Diego Comic-Con International is looking a bit different this year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. The pop culture event, which usually draws upwards of 135,000 people, had to cancel the convention as we know it due to coronavirus concerns but that isn't stopping them from trying to give fans a Comic-Con experience from their homes.
Today begins the entirely digital Comic-Con@Home which will run between Wednesday and Sunday of this week. Much like the traditional Comic-Con, today begins preview day and the real coverage will begin tomorrow through the end of the conventions' run. Our coverage of the event will begin tomorrow and we will bring you whatever news drops from the digital event which is set to feature more than 350 (mostly prerecorded) panels highlighting upcoming television shows and movies with the help of their stars and filmmakers. Panels will stream for free on YouTube and are open to all. That means no crazy waits in that dreaded Hall H line.
In addition, the convention’s regular merchandise exclusives will be available, with a virtual convention floor accessible via their website. More than 700 vendors will be a part of the virtual convention floor, which is now open to the public!
Will YOU be attending Comic-Con@Home?
