Comic-Con teaser announces Fear the Walking Dead will return this October

With COVID-19 putting a halt to just about everything, it's no surprise that the release schedule of nearly the entirety of film and television has been affected. Fear the Walking Dead typically launches on AMC in either late-spring or mid-summer, but as production on the sixth season of the spin-off series was forced to shut-down in the middle of things due to COVID-19, it was uncertain when the series would debut or if it would be pushed entirely until production was allowed to resume.

As far as the flagship series goes, the tenth season of The Walking Dead wrapped up prematurely earlier this year as AMC announced that they would be unable to complete post-production on the season finale in time. However, the "jaw-dropping" episode is still expected to debut later this year, and I'd imagine we'll hear a little more during its Comic-Con panel today.
