Comic-Con posters for The World’s End and newly titled Edge of Tomorrow (All You Need is Kill)

Two new Comic-Con posters have been revealed for THE WORLD'S END and ALL YOU NEED IS KILL which has been retitled EDGE OF TOMORROW and you can have a look at both of those below! First up is a kick ass poster for Edgar Wright's THE WORLD'S END by artist Tommy Lee Edwards. Directed by Wright the film stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan. THE WORLD'S END hits theaters August 23rd!

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again.  They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End.  As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

Next up we  have a new poster for Doug Liman’s sci-fi actioner EDGE OF TOMORROW (previously titled ALL YOU NEED IS KILL). The poster gives us a fantastic look at Tom Cruise all geared out in some truly badass armor. The film stars Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt,  Bill Paxton, Charlotte Riley, Kick Gurry and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. EDGE OF TOMORROW is slated for a June 6, 2014 release.

The story unfolds in a near future in which a hive-like alien race, called Mimics, have hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, shredding great cities to rubble and leaving millions of human casualties in their wake. No army in the world can match the speed, brutality or seeming prescience of the weaponized Mimic fighters or their telepathic commanders. But now the world’s armies have joined forces for a last stand offensive against the alien horde, with no second chances. Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously demoted and then dropped–untrained and ill-equipped–into what amounts to little more than a suicide mission. Cage is killed within minutes, managing to take an Alpha down with him. But, impossibly, he awakens back at the beginning of the same hellish day, and is forced to fight and die again… and again. Direct physical contact with the alien has thrown him into a time loop– dooming him to live out the same brutal combat over and over.
