We have some nice looking posters coming out of Comic-Con 2014 already and are delighted to show you some new arrivals. First up Marvel Studios has released a new Comic-Con concept art poster for ANT-MAN. It been a shaky start for ANT-MAN with production was delayed when director and co-writer Edgar Wright dropped out of the production after eight years of work on the project. The movie is now set to start shooting in August for a July 17, 2015 release and there should be some news coming out SDCC this week.
Directed by Peyton Reed, ANT-MAN will star Paul Rudd (Scott Lang /Ant-Man), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Evangeline Lilly, Patrick Wilson, Corey Stoll and David Dastmalchian.
Here is the synopsis:
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
What do you think of the Drew Struzan vibe the poster gives off?
Next up, Marvel has debuted two concept posters for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON which they are said to be handing out during Preview Night at Comic-Con. Opening in theaters on May 1, 2015, Joss Whedon's highly-anticipated sequel stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader, Cobie Smulders, Thomas Kretschmann and Paul Bettany.
I absolutely love these AVENGERS art posters; it’s always a pleasure to see Iron Man destroy a face. Notice the subtle yet awesome arrows thanks to Hawkeye. Check them out below!
