Comic Con: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice panel!

Warner Bros. brought the first official teaser trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE to Hall H today. Predictably, the response was incredibly positive (but they could have shown footage of the craft service table being set up and the crowd would have went wild). Additionally, they showed off Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman – but you already saw that.

Teaser begins with Batman, wearing his armored suit, pulling off a cover off the bat signal during a rain storm. He looks up; camera tilts up and we see Superman floating in the air, looking down at Batman while the light from the bat signal illuminates him. Close-up of Batman, then a close-up of Superman, his eyes glowing red. Safe to say, neither looks incredibly pleased to see each other.

That's it. Yes, quite brief, but still whipped the crowd into a frenzy. It doesn't look like an actual scene from the film; probably just meant as a promo teaser.

Soon after, director Zack Snyder brought out Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot came out an waved at the crowd, although none of them said anything. Moderator Chris Hardwick of course took the opportunity to shoot a selfie with the trio.

Here's what Snyder had to say to the crowd:

We were shooting last night, jumped on a plane and came here this morning just to give you an update and let you know how we're doing. Couldn't be happier with the way things are going, it's super amazing, the talent and the sets and special effects are going amazingly well and I couldn't be happier.

And with that, it was over. I personally thought they'd show just a little more, but as they're still in production it's understandable. That said, the promo teaser was goosebump-inducing, so it had the intended effect; hopefully it'll be online sooner rather than later so everyone can enjoy.
