Comic Con 2012 has come and gone and our lengthy coverage, filled with interviews, reviews, photo galleries, movie & televison panel descriptions, podcasts, and red carpets, has come to an end. The main man, JoBlo, asked me to write up something to end the weekend with a little more personal feel. Something that shows the lighter side of our weekend once we closed our laptops and removed our press badges. This was the first year I was honored to be the “team leader” for the festivities and I like to think it came off just as well as ever. Not to say that has anything to do with me – our Comic Con team is a great bunch of hardworking dudes that know how and when to post an article all by themselves. I’m just happy I didn’t f*ck anything up along the way.
Be sure to check out all our coverage right here. The Con itself was pretty spectacular as always. We covered some TV Panels for the first time ever (Dexter, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad). We witnessed what might of have been the greatest Hall H presentation of all time by Warner Bros. (PACIFIC RIM, MAN OF STEEL, The GODZILLA teaser, THE CAMPAIGN, and THE HOBBIT). We got to sit down the aisle from Karl Urban as we checked out a screening of DREDD (review). And finally, we all got together at the end of the trip to record one of the greatest (2-part) JoBlo Movie Podcasts of all time. In a bar.
So thanks to our readers, as always (and listeners, yo!), and thanks to my team (Eric Walkuski, Rusty Eltringham, Jason Adams, Nick Bosworth, and James “Jimmy O” Oster) for making the site look great for another year of Comic Con. Enjoy the pics below and we’ll see ya next year!
Why is Jimmy O in so many pictures? And why is that dude so huge?
