Color Out of Space and The Shed are heading to Shudder

The first half of 2020 has been the most successful period in the history of the horror-centric streaming service Shudder, and they have just acquired the streaming rights to add a couple more cool horror movies to the service later this year.

Those movies are Richard Stanley's triumphant comeback, the H.P. Lovecraft adaptation COLOR OUT OF SPACE, and writer/director Frank Sabatella's vampire movie THE SHED.

Starring Nicolas Cage, COLOR OUT OF SPACE tells the following story: 

After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farmstead, Nathan Gardner and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a technicolor nightmare.

Cage is joined in the cast by Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight, Q'orianka Kilcher, and Tommy Chong.

Starring Jay Jay Warren, Cody Kostro, Sofia Happonen, Frank Whaley, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, and Timothy Bottoms, THE SHED tells the story of 

Stan (Warren) and his best friend Dommer (Kostro), who have put up with bullies their entire lives. All of that changes when Stan discovers he has a murderous vampire living in his shed. Seeing the bloodshed and destruction the monster is capable of, Stan knows he has to find a way to destroy it – but Dommer has a much more sinister plan in mind. 

I gave THE SHED an 8/10 review when it was first released last year.

Both of these movies are well worth checking out when they reach Shudder later this year.
